  2. Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
  3. A command prompt window will open, and the cache will reset.

Step 2: Check for Windows Updates

Ensure that your Windows operating system is up-to-date:

  1. Open Settings and go to Update & Security.
  2. Click Check for updates.

Step 3: Reset Microsoft Store

If the previous steps didn’t help, reset the Store:

  1. Open Settings and go to Apps.
  2. Find Microsoft Store in the list and select it.
  3. Click Advanced options and select Reset.

Step 4: Check Your Internet Connection

A slow or unstable internet connection might be the reason for failed downloads. Try these steps:

  1. Restart your router or modem.
  2. Ensure that you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
  3. Try downloading other apps to check if the issue is specific to the Store.

Step 5: Check Storage Space

Ensure that there is enough storage space on your device for the download:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Storage.
  2. Check available space on your main drive.
  3. If storage is low, delete unused files or move them to another drive.

Step 6: Disable Proxy or VPN

Proxies or VPNs might interfere with downloads from the Microsoft Store:

  1. Open Settings > Network & Internet.
  2. Click on Proxy and ensure that all proxy settings are off.
  3. If you’re using a VPN, temporarily disable it and try downloading the app again.
